Filmmaker Martin Scorsese Will Keynote Conference

association DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group will present its
second annual conference concerning the current and upcoming business
activities related to Blu-ray Disc on November 3 in Los Angeles.
The Blu-Con event is specifically designed to bring together a
variety of creative, marketing and business experts from across the
entertainment and electronics industries, in order to underscore why
Blu-ray Disc is the key driver in home entertainment. The event will
attract approximately 300 attendees, and will offer a program that will
highlight the critical role that Blu-ray plays in today’s home
entertainment environment.
Exclusive keynote presentations will be made by legendary filmmaker
Martin Scorsese; media and entertainment analyst Jessica Reif Cohen of Merrill Lynch; and Mike Vitelli, Executive Vice President, Customer Operations Groups, Best Buy.
